This position is based in Doha, Qatar, working for Qatar Duty Free – the world’s award-winning best airport.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare tables by laying linens, crockery, cutlery, etc.
- Escort guests to their tables, serve food and beverages.
- Obtain food from the kitchen, serve, and remove items not required.
- Handle guest complaints and relay to the Food and Beverage Supervisor.
- Check tables during meals, refill water, and fulfill guest needs.
- Ensure guests are enjoying their meals and address any issues.
- Complete closing side-work duties.
- Perform basic cleaning tasks as directed.
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
- Comply with health and safety policies.
- Explain menu items, ingredients, and cooking methods. Inform guests of daily specials.
- Stock service areas with supplies, wipe cutleries and glassware.
- Serve food in buffet service when required.
- Perform other related duties as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications:
- Experience in well-known restaurants or hotel chains.
- Provide excellent customer service at the Outlet.
- Communicate efficiently and professionally with customers and the team.
- Understand and communicate airport products and services.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Work well in a team and handle multiple tasks with urgency.
- Good communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and fluency in English.
