In line with our approved Social and Labour Plan (SLP), Northam Platinum, Zondereinde Mine is looking to award bursaries to top-performing students studying mining-related qualifications.

Zondereinde is offering bursaries to exceptional students

This exciting opportunity is accessible to students studying accredited qualifications at the major South African Universities and Universities of Technology

Required Documents

  • A valid South African Identity Document (SA Citizen)
  • A valid National Senior Certificate, having passed all subjects with an aggregate of 60% or more. If one is studying towards obtaining it, please send Grade 11 and current Grade 12 results
  •  Proof of admission (1st-year Students)
  • Students already at Tertiary Institutions should have obtained a minimum average of 60% in all major subjects
  • Academic records including current year results should be attached 
  • Brief Curriculum Vitae

South African universities require a prospective student to first apply for admission before he/she can register. Zondereinde will only consider students who can prove that they possess provisional admission at the institution of their choice for their preferred field of study
