Requirements

For Post-2008 Senior Certificate Holders:

Academic Qualifications:

Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) with the minimum requirements for admission to diploma studies.

English: Level 4

Life Sciences (Biology): Level 4 or Physical Science: Level 3

Mathematics Literacy: Level 4 or Mathematics: Level 3

Minimum of 23 points (24 if Mathematical Literacy applies), excluding Life Orientation.

Computer Literacy (NQF Level 3) recommended.

Requirements:

    • Valid Matric (Grade 12) with diploma admission or National Vocational Certificate with required APS score.
    • Old Senior Certificate with an aggregate of 950 marks or higher with compulsory subjects.
    • Missing subjects: Candidates can apply via RPL if lacking Life Sciences (Biology) or Physical Science.
    • Minimum age: 25 years.
    • Minimum of 5 years operational experience in healthcare.
    • Pass relevant RPL course.
