Position:
Pre Learners x10 (Mechanical Assistant – 12-month contract)
Global Grade 03
Location: Likely in Africa (specific location details should be available on the application page)
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12/N3 with:
- Pure Mathematics: Min 45%
- English: Min 45%
- Physical Science: Min 45%
- N2/N3 with relevant theory in Motor/Diesel and/or Electrical/Electronic Theory will be a bonus.
- Technicians for the World certificate (advantageous)
- Minimum Code B Learner’s License (Light motor vehicle) is advantageous.
- Sound literacy and numeracy skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Technicians with:
- Inspecting, troubleshooting, testing, maintaining, and repairing heavy machinery.
- Removing and installing components.
- Ordering parts and managing service-related tasks.
- Preparing customer machine analysis and reports.
- General housekeeping and customer support.
