Available Fields for Internships

Internships are offered in various fields at the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF).


Requirements

  • Eligibility: Unemployed graduates with at least a three (3)-year Degree/National Diploma OR students who have passed all coursework but require practical workplace exposure to complete a qualification in any specified field.
  • Academic Performance:
    • Minimum 60% aggregate pass mark at the undergraduate level (over the duration of the qualification)
    • Minimum 55% pass mark at the postgraduate level
  • Citizenship: Open only to South African citizens.
  • Age: Between 18 and 35 years old.
  • Exclusions:
    • Students still needing to finish or qualify for a Degree or National Diploma.
    • Applicants who have benefited from a previous Internship programme and those with formal employment experience in their field of study.
