Position: Principal Clerk – Budget Reporting & Budget Structure
Department: Finance
Division: Budget & Management Accounting
Salary: R249 780 – R342 624 per annum (plus benefits)
Core Responsibilities:
- Support the Department by executing effective financial administrative and clerical tasks to ensure overall alignment with the organisation’s financial strategy
- Administer reallocations of funds to ensure that reallocations of funds are in accordance with SCOA structure
- Assist with financial administration of the financial structure to ensure that the financial structure of Council are in accordance with financial regulations and legislation
- Assist with budget tips campaign to ensure that budget tips campaign runs smoothly
- Ensure governance and risk management to identify and manage governance and risk expose liability
- Perform financial processes to ensure and oversee effective financial control, corporate and financial compliance
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Higher Certificate in Finance or relevant equivalent NQF Level 5 qualification
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar environment
